OrderMaster Support Is Going Away—What Now?

Ask the Accountant…

Question: I have used OrderMaster for a long time. Is there any support for the software?

Answer: Unfortunately, no. OrderMaster is no longer supported. It was sold as a stand-alone product that users owned and loaded onto their computers. It has remained static while your computer operating systems have continually advanced.

The old software doesn’t communicate with the new operating software, causing OrderMaster crashes, often with significant loss of data.

I’m very familiar with this issue because I acquired the rights to rewrite OM software in a more modern language, and that proved too expensive. In this endeavor, I met a long-time OM user who can sometimes recover data and patch together some temporary workarounds. Let me know if you would like an introduction.

My best suggestion is, sooner rather than later, OM users should explore other options before OM crashes permanently.
